Reformation2020
Navigating the collision of ancient truth and modern systems
Canon Walker
Canon Walker has been a parish priest in the Church of England for many years, former Rural Dean of Hull and active in the civic as well as spiritual life of the city. These experiences have contributed to his broad perspective and have been key influencers on his recently published work, “Reformation 2020".
He explains: “This work is born out of experience as well as study and research. Apart from a brief period working for the Inner London Education Authority, most of my working life has been spent in the City of Hull. Living close to the university enabled me to complete a postgraduate MA and some years later submit an M. Phil thesis which was conferred in the year 2000.
With his feet firmly planted in the streets of his adopted city, and the life experience and close relationship with the local community that his role as a parish priest afforded, Canon Walker has the access and the intellect to marry up changes across all areas of society and relate them to a historical context.

The year the world stopped.
The scenario in the deep subconscious of the modern mind, where the plans and strategies for further expansion had by some unforeseen event been paralysed, now had a place on the agenda.
Change was in the air. The cracks had already been appearing. This is not about a tweak to the system. It is not about the need for a reset. This is Reformation 2020. Just like its precursor in the 16c. it will affect everything.
